Bio
The works of music producer Guido F. Matis (a.k.a. widosub) move on a large palette thanks to his experimenter attitude.
His musical career began as a singer for a new metal band called Gloaming and then as a singer in several formations, but already during this time, his attraction to music production was noticeable.
He was greatly influenced by the underground music of the 2000s and this is also the reason for his love towards broken rhythm. Although the world of drum and bass is closest to him, he prefers to create ambient, breakbeat, or even deep house music.
Guido believes that the limitations of genres should not limit the music production process, so the listener may encounter more genres within a piece of music.
Thanks to this kind of experimentation, the Empty Universe formation was created in the music lab of his good friend, Bobek, where they achieved a special sound world by a kind of a marriage of drum and bass and psy genres.
In addition, he is happy to help various music formations in their work as music producers (Űrlénykirály, BINAR), but he has already written music for both animation and video.
He has developed his knowledge of music production at the ImPro Music School and has been developing it through further studies ever since.
Over the years, he has shown a growing interest in movie sound-related projects, completing MOME Sound Design course, and has since performed regular audio post-production work for short films, feature films, and animations, from comedy to thriller.
Due to his diverse interests, he is regularly involved in writing meditation and relaxation music, as can be heard in the recently published Heed Beats project, but is also involved in audiobooks and has written headliner music for online feeds as well.
Together with his two brothers, he organized the 7vége az ég alatt (Weekend Under The Sky) music festival for many years.
He hosts the MustBeat Show (drum and bass, chillout) with Bobek on a monthly basis on Tilos Radio's wavelength.
